Heather Quate is 17 and trains for and is sponsored by the Rocking River M Equestrian Center.  In 2009 she qualified for the North Texas High School Finals in barrel racing, breakaway calf roping, goat tying and ribbon roping.

Heather also qualified for the Pro Youth Finals in the same events.  At the North Texas High School Finals she was reserve champion in breakaway roping and in the Pro Youth Finals she was the break away roping champion.
